My name is Ashar Khan, and I am the founder of PikJobz. I created this platform because I personally experienced how difficult and frustrating it can be to find reliable job information in Pakistan.
Like many young people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, I spent a lot of time searching through newspapers, scrolling through dozens of websites, and asking friends and family just to find out about a single job vacancy. Half the time, the information was incomplete, the deadline had already passed, or the details were simply wrong. I knew there had to be a better way.
That frustration became the motivation behind PikJobz.
Why I Started PikJobz
In Pakistan, job opportunities are announced across hundreds of different sources — government websites, newspapers like Dawn and Jang, official department portals, NTS announcements, and social media pages. For an ordinary job seeker, keeping track of all these sources is nearly impossible, especially for people in smaller cities and towns who do not always have easy access to daily newspapers or fast internet.
I started PikJobz in 2025 with one clear goal: to collect, organize, and present job information in a simple, easy-to-understand format so that every Pakistani job seeker — whether in Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, or a small village in Balochistan — can access the same opportunities without wasting hours searching.
